Instructions for use of band heaters
ELMEC Srl provides some practical advice on how to take care of electrical heaters over time, so as to avoid damage to the insulating part or to the electrical contacts.
- Do not conserve the band heater in wet place.
- Do not strike and tamper with it.
- For a good and long-life, the band heater must be installed on machinaries equipped with devices for tthe automatic regulation of temperature and which have protections for possible emission or leak of liquids or plastic materials.
- Do not modify the band heater.
- In case of necessity, before making every kind of modification, contact ELMEC Srl company for a heaven-sent intervention.
- To guarantee the person’s safety, the basic rule is to cut off the current before doing every kind of operation.
